Workforce Monitoring & Employee Privacy Notice
How screenshot, activity, and app-usage monitoring features are intended to be disclosed and used.
What the platform can capture
RemotifyOffice supports screenshot capture, app-usage summaries, activity scoring, idle-state events, timestamps, and related operational history. Depending on organization settings, captured data may include window titles and multi-monitor screenshots.
Who decides monitoring settings
Each customer organization chooses whether to enable these features for its workforce. Friendsware Solutions provides the software; the customer controls workplace deployment, internal policy, and employee communications.
Notice and consent obligations
Customers are responsible for determining whether notice, consent, consultation, works-council review, employment-policy updates, or other legal steps are required before using monitoring features in their jurisdiction.
Recommended employee disclosures
Customers should clearly tell employees what is monitored, when it is monitored, what devices or accounts are in scope, who can review the data, how long data is kept, and whom to contact for questions or rights requests.
Lawful use boundary
RemotifyOffice must not be used for unlawful covert surveillance, discriminatory profiling, or any use that violates local labor, privacy, or monitoring laws. If your organization is unsure, obtain local legal advice before enabling monitoring features.
